Viña, cepas y plantación

The vine, the stocks, the plantationAt the moment, only twelve hectares of several different varieties have been planted:

  • CABERNET SAUVIGNON
  • SYRAH
  • GARNACHA
  • CARIÑENA
  • PETIT VERDOT
  • TOURIGA NACIONAL

The choice of what and where to plant has depended on the variety, orientation, microclimate and the height. Gragting has been done using mainly R110, Gravesac and 1103 P.

*Vine density: 2200 vines per hectare.
*Average production: 0,600 Kgs per vine.
*Hectolitres per hectare: 10 – 11.
*Vineyards first planted: 1999

Viñedos de Ithaca controls, supervises and buys grapes from other old and picturesque vineyards located in Poboleda, Vilella Baixa, Belmut, and Molar, whose production is very limited.
